We Investigated
This summer’s high temperatures contributed to motor overheating. Our testing showed that when the motor overheats, the built-in thermal protection can trigger, stopping the blades to help prevent damage.
We Acted
Our engineering team evaluated software tuning and hardware enhancements in parallel. After 31 iterations of prototyping and rigorous endurance testing, we developed an active cooling solution designed to improve motor cooling and help reduce overheating.

Hardware Upgrade
Motor Cooling Fan Kit
We introduced an active cooling module to manage motor temperatures more effectively. The Motor Cooling Fan Kit enhances internal airflow, efficiently drawing heat away and helping reduce heat buildup during heavy mowing tasks.
By keeping the motor running cooler, this upgrade helps reduce overheating-related blade stoppages and supports more consistent performance.
In laboratory no-load testing, the Cooling Fan Kit reduced motor temperature by approximately 25%. Actual results may vary based on ambient temperature, grass density, workload, and operating conditions.
